Principal Directors
All of our team members, without exception, have held senior bid/proposal management roles within major corporations. We're proven practitioners: we don't just talk about proposals, we all roll up our sleeves regularly to help clients to win live deals.
Our principal directors are BJ Lownie and Jon Williams:

Jon Williams
Jon Williams (Strategic Proposals L.L.C.), who established our European operation in 2001, is a Fellow of APMP and an accredited Proposal Professional. After spending the early years of his career in purchasing, Jon set up a hugely successful Strategic Bid Centre for a major technology company. Jon has delivered a range of successful programmes for blue-chip clients around the world in recent years, including benchmarking projects, building proposal centres and facilitating must-win deals.
Jon is also an acclaimed proposal trainer and conference presenter. He was the first Chief Executive of the UK branch of APMP, and has won a number of industry awards.

BJ Lownie
BJ founded Strategic Proposals L.L.C. (formerly known as P3 Consulting) in 1987. Based in the US, he brings years of experience in building proposal centers, developing and delivering training and managing proposal efforts. He is a founding member of the APMP and had been accredited as a Proposal Professional.
BJ is a frequent, popular presenter at industry events and has published articles in the APMP Journal and Perspective. BJ was previously head of the Corporate Proposals Group for a major technology company, and has a background in business management, operations and journalism.
